Andy C – Operations Director
Andy has been a passionate car enthusiast since his early childhood, cultivating a deep love for high-performance vehicles. As a chartered electrical engineer, Andy brings a meticulous and hands-on approach to his work at 6th Gear Experience. He is frequently found in the garage, rolling up his sleeves and working alongside the technicians to address and resolve any issues that arise with their fleet of supercars.
In addition to his technical expertise, Andy is also a dedicated and accomplished racer. Over the course of his racing career, he has competed in more than 100 races, showcasing his skill and determination on the track. One of his most notable achievements was winning the Radical European Masters Championship in 2014, a testament to his racing prowess. Currently, Andy is racing in the prestigious Ligier LMP3 Le Mans prototype in the Le Mans Cup, continually pushing the limits of his driving capabilities.
Andy is incredibly proud to be one of the co-founders of 6th Gear Experience, where he combines his engineering background, racing experience, and passion for cars to create unforgettable driving experiences for enthusiasts. Ian G – Events Manager
Ian has dedicated over a decade to the Supercar experience industry, taking on a multitude of roles that have shaped his extensive expertise and passion for high-performance driving. His journey with 6th Gear began as an instructor for the Ariel Atom, a role that garnered him recognition through the popular YouTube Deer experience video. Demonstrating exceptional skill and commitment, Ian steadily advanced through the ranks, ultimately becoming an event manager.
As a qualified and approved driving instructor, Ian’s meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess ensure that every 6th Gear event operates seamlessly. His deep understanding of both the technical and logistical aspects of supercar experiences enables him to deliver unforgettable, safe, and exhilarating driving days for all participants. Ian’s leadership and dedication are key to maintaining the high standards that 6th Gear is renowned for.
Marc B- Event Media Manager
Marc brings over two decades of expertise in motorsport photography, capturing the thrilling essence of high-speed action and the intricate details of some of the world’s most coveted vehicles. Since joining 6th Gear in 2010, he has become an integral part of the team, known for his exceptional ability to freeze moments of adrenaline and precision on the track. Outside of his professional life, Marc is an avid skier with a passion for the French Alps, where he relishes the exhilaration of skiing down challenging pistes. His adventurous spirit on and off the slopes complements his dynamic approach to photography, always seeking the next exciting shot.
Owen T – Supercar Fleet Maintenance Manager
Owen joined 6th Gear in 2010, starting his journey as a mechanic and showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication to the craft. His passion for motorsports and unwavering commitment to excellence led to his promotion to manager of our operations in 2014.
A fervent motorsport enthusiast, Owen holds a national rally licence and actively participates in UK national rally events whenever his schedule permits. His deep-rooted love for the sport and hands-on experience make him an invaluable asset to the 6th Gear team, continually driving our operations forward with his expertise and enthusiasm.
Sophie M – Customer Services Manager
Sophie is a cheerful and outgoing individual who finds great joy and fulfillment in her customer service role. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm make her a natural at connecting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
Outside of work, Sophie loves to explore new places and cultures through her travels, and she cherishes spending quality time socializing with her friends. Whether she’s discovering a new destination or enjoying a lively evening out, Sophie’s vibrant personality shines through in everything she does.
Tracy-Jane C – Driver Registration Manager
Tracy-Jane is a vibrant and outgoing member of our team, bringing over 20 years of rich hospitality experience to the table. Her passion for excellence in service is matched only by her enthusiasm for supercars, with the Bugatti Veyron Cinque holding a special place in her heart.
As a supercar aficionado, Tracy-Jane’s deep appreciation for these incredible machines adds a unique flair to her role. She expertly manages the customer registration team, ensuring that every detail of our customers’ experience is meticulously planned and executed.

Andy W – Supercar & Truck Instructor
Andy is a seasoned racer with a passion for speed and precision, beginning his racing career at the young age of 15 in a Mk1 Fiesta, competing in Autograss racing. His talent and dedication quickly propelled him to circuit racing, where he clinched numerous club championships. Andy’s career reached new heights when he won the prestigious ELF/Silverstone single-seater championship in the same year, showcasing his versatility and skill across different racing formats.
Darren S – Supercar Instructor
Darren is a lifelong motorsport enthusiast with a deep passion for racing. During his younger years, Darren achieved significant success as a rally driver, notably competing in the prestigious Lombard RAC Rally in both 1989 and 1990, behind the wheel of an Opel Manta Group B rally car. His dedication to the sport and his impressive performances have left a lasting mark on the rallying community.
Outside of his professional life, Darren enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family. He takes great pride in coaching his son, Charlie, in karting, passing on his extensive knowledge and love for motorsport to the next generation. This commitment to fostering Charlie’s talent not only strengthens their bond but also keeps Darren connected to the racing world he cherishes.
Don K – Supercar Instructor
Don is our resident high-speed ride expert and has been a cornerstone of 6th Gear since he joined in early 2010. Known for his exhilarating and heart-pounding rides in our Focus RS, Don never fails to give our customers an unforgettable experience. With over 40 years of competitive racing under his belt, Don has an impressive resume, having competed in more than 500 circuit racing and rallying events. His dedication and skill have earned him two race championships and three rally championships.
A distinguished works MG driver for many years, Don made history as the first driver to rally an Austin Allegro back in 1974. His extensive knowledge and passion for motorsport are unparalleled, making him a true asset to our team. Beyond the track, Don is a devoted football fan who has been cheering for Birmingham City since he was 10 years old. His combined passion for speed and sports makes him a dynamic and beloved figure at 6th Gear.

Nigel has been a dedicated racer in various championships since 1999, showcasing his passion and skill on the track for over two decades. Currently, he competes in endurance championships, driving a meticulously modified Audi TT which he shares with another talented driver. His extensive experience and deep knowledge of racing make him an invaluable asset to the 6th Gear team. As a long-time instructor, Nigel is committed to ensuring that all his customers have an exhilarating and memorable time, providing expert guidance and creating a thrilling yet safe driving experience for everyone.
Rich D – Supercar Instructor
Rich is a highly qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) who has expanded his expertise to teaching and assessing other ADIs. His journey with 6th Gear began as a junior Supercar experience instructor, where his passion for high-performance driving quickly became evident. Over time, Rich has advanced to circuit coaching, a role in which he thrives. He takes great pleasure in helping customers maximize their driving experience, ensuring they not only enjoy the thrill of driving supercars but also improve their driving skills under his expert guidance. Rich’s dedication and experience make him an invaluable asset to the 6th Gear team, as he continues to inspire and elevate the driving abilities of both novice drivers and seasoned enthusiasts.
Richard T – Supercar Instructor
Richard is a seasoned racer with an illustrious career, having competed against some of the greatest names in Formula 1, including the legendary Ayrton Senna. With numerous victories in single-seater championships, such as Formula Ford 2000, Richard’s talent and dedication were recognized when he was awarded the prestigious Grovewood Award for the most promising driver of the year in 1980. His passion for racing remains undiminished, as he continues to compete in historic Formula 3 events at iconic circuits like Castle Combe, Spa, Monaco, and Silverstone. Since 2010, Richard has been sharing his extensive knowledge and experience as an instructor for 6th Gear, helping aspiring drivers achieve their full potential on the track.
Roger O – Supercar Instructor
Roger has dedicated over 40 years to the world of motorsport, building an impressive career and a legacy within the racing community. His journey began with a remarkable achievement as the Castle Combe Formula Ford champion in 1974. Over the decades, Roger has showcased his versatility and skill by competing in numerous racing categories, securing multiple championship titles along the way. Although he has now retired from active racing, Roger continues to share his passion and expertise as an instructor for 6th Gear. In addition to his instructional role, he takes pride in managing and mentoring his son, Roger Junior, who has inherited his father’s enthusiasm and talent for racing. Roger’s enduring commitment to the sport ensures that his legacy will continue to inspire future generations of racers.
Russell M – Supercar Instructor
Russell is one of 6th Gear’s longest-serving and most experienced instructors, having joined our team back in 2010. With a deep passion for racing, he has participated in various championships over the years, securing impressive victories in four different series. Notably, he was crowned the 2015 Atom Endurance Cup champion. Known for his expertise and dedication, Russell frequently coaches our customers in the exhilarating Ariel Atoms, regardless of weather conditions. His enthusiasm for all things car-related makes him a valuable asset to our team and a favorite among our clients.
Stewert L – Supercar Instructor
Stewart is 6th Gear’s longest-serving instructor, having been an integral part of the company since 2009. His passion for racing is evident through his impressive track record, including multiple championship victories. Notably, Stewart has clinched the modified Jaguar V12 championship title four times, showcasing his exceptional driving skills and competitive spirit. Beyond his achievements on the racetrack, Stewart’s expertise spans various driving disciplines. He regularly takes on roles such as stunt driving, rally coaching, and 4×4 instructing, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to the craft. Stewart’s extensive experience and diverse skill set make him an invaluable asset to 6th Gear and an inspiring mentor to all aspiring drivers.

Wayne has been a dedicated member of the 6th Gear team since 2011, where he brings his extensive racing experience and passion for performance driving to the forefront. Typically found behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo, Wayne excels in coaching our customers, providing them with unparalleled insights and skills to enhance their driving experience. Over the years, Wayne has competed in a variety of prestigious racing championships, including Stock Hatch, Hot Hatch, and Britcar championships.
